Sukhi is an Articling Student at Walsh LLP who practices in the area of Business and Corporate Law.

Sukhi Sandhu is an articling student in the Business and Corporate Law group at Walsh LLP.

Sukhi is a student-at-law who graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law. Before this, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (With Distinction).   

During law school, Sukhi volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and served as Vice President of Operations of the Negotiations Club. She also interned with the BLG Business Venture Clinic, where she assisted entrepreneurs on a pro bono basis and worked extensively with venture fund managers, developing proficiency in business law and venture capital. 

Sukhi is also dedicated to her community. In 2021, she was awarded the Gary Dickson Volunteer Award, from the Calgary John Howard Society, following a three-year commitment to working with the offenders on rehabilitation/reintegration into the community.

In August 2023, Sukhi gained international experience through an exchange program at the Corporate Law Summer Institute in London, England, where she gained invaluable exposure to cross-border corporate transactions in one of the world’s financial capitals.  

Sukhi’s passion for corporate law is evident and she is excited to return to Walsh LLP for her articles to build her practice in business law and contribute to the success of the firm. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Sukhi enjoys reading, travelling, and sports. She is an avid hiker, having completed trails in Arizona, Peru, and Spain.
